Renovating the heart for life.

With sensitivity to faith, spirituality, and culture, Heartisan offers affordable counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

Sometimes we come to a point in our lives when we realize something isn’t working and we might need help sorting it out. We experience loss, change, or broken relationships. We feel stuck in life, in love, in our careers. We no longer have energy or no longer seem to enjoy the things we once did.

Talking to a counsellor can help.

EMDR

When we live through or witness violence, trauma, or loss, we might struggle to make sense of our experience. Our brains can get “stuck” in the memories and emotions, blocking our healing process. Sometimes we need something different than traditional counselling to help us process our experiences.

EMDR therapy can be a tool to help your healing.

Couple’s Counselling

Sometimes in a relationship we find ourselves thinking or feeling:

“It's like we can't talk; we are worse than roommates.”

“I’m on eggshells. If I do anything, it’s wrong.

“I've been trying my best to accommodate, but we just end up fighting.”

“No one thinks about me. I'm tired of it.”

“I want sex to be fun, spiritual, silly even; he wants it to be boring.”

‘You say our relationship is ‘blah.’ I find that hurtful.”

Maybe its time to learn a new relationship dance.

To heal the heart is to heal the person.
